The Emma Luxe ThermoSoft is Emma’s coolest-sleeping hybrid yet, built for the warm Australian climate. It layers graphite-infused ThermoSync foam and a PolarLuxe cool-touch cover over a 7-zone pocket-spring core, so heat is drawn away at every level while the springs keep you supported. In this review we look at how it feels, what it costs on Emma’s near-permanent sale, and who it suits.
This review is based on the mattress’s construction and materials, Emma’s published specifications, and aggregated owner feedback on cooling, comfort and support. Use it to decide whether the Luxe ThermoSoft is right for you.
The Luxe ThermoSoft is a 26cm, seven-layer hybrid engineered so that cooling is built into every layer, not just the cover:
The Luxe ThermoSoft has a medium-soft, adaptive feel (around 7.6 on Emma’s soft-leaning scale). The memory-foam layers cushion pressure points while the zoned springs stop you sinking too far, which suits side and back sleepers best. The stand-out is temperature: the graphite foam and cool-touch cover genuinely take the edge off a hot night, making it one of the better cooling hybrids at this price.
The Luxe ThermoSoft is 26cm thick and comes in all standard Australian sizes from Single to King. It arrives compressed in a box and expands within a few hours.
Emma discounts heavily and almost always runs a sale, so check the current price before buying. Recent sale pricing (roughly half the RRP), verified July 2026:
If you sleep hot and want a plush, contouring hybrid, the Luxe ThermoSoft is one of the best-value cooling mattresses in Australia, provided you buy it on sale, which is almost always. Heavier sleepers or dedicated stomach sleepers who need a firmer surface should look at a firmer Emma or the Origin Hybrid instead. For side and back sleepers who run warm, it is an easy recommendation.
